Tourism Vancouver needed a site to improve communication and working relationships with their partners.

Tourism Vancouver's focus is on building exceptional customer relationships. Their primary customers are meeting planners, travel influencers, travel media and independent tourists. TVan's efforts generate demand for the destination, thereby creating value for members and stakeholders. Innovation, partnership, research and accountability guide their approach.

In their attempts to utilize person-to-person and technology-based sales, marketing and visitor servicing activities to achieve results, Tourism Vancouver turned to NMG for support with destination sales & marketing technology, while also looking for a partner to help them in preparation for the 2010 Winter Olympics.

Solution:
  • NMG built a web site, with content and member management, which allows all parties to communicate essential information as efficiently as possible.
  • Developed a ticket-scanning application to feed visitor data into their CRM application for use for 2010 Winter Olympics
  • Implemented new marketing technology to assist them in reaching more targets, and promote the destination of greater Vancouver

  • Built-in CMS allows Admins to manage site content and data with ease.
  • Tourism Vancouver and it’s members work from one integrated portal.
