Situation:

The primary goal of the Austin Convention & Visitors Bureau is to drive business into the city through the booking of conventions, as well as create awareness of Austin as a first rate destination. The Austin CVB also wants to alert potential travelers to the myriad of activities available to conventioneers and casual travelers alike.

In order to achieve their goal, the Austin CVB sought out New Media Gateway's team of marketing and technology experts for assistance.


Solution:
  • The Email Marketing Center offers the flexibility to customize campaigns and deliver any form of digital collateral with ease.
  • Every outbound message is tracked through the reporting engine that provides detailed campaign statistics and click activity down to each individual recipient.
  • NMG implemented the Destination Business System to replace Austin CVB's existing business management infrastructure.


Impact:
  • The DBS enabled the Austin CVB to bring all of their existing processes and departments together into a single system.
  • Staff is able to login from anywhere in the world and manage accounts, contacts, sales and services.
