DMC Includes Video Email Capabilities

July 2008

New Media Gateway recently updated its Digital Marketing Center’s (DMC) product, which now allows customizable e-cards and enhanced user-friendliness to already existing video email capabilities. A new collateral picker function allows basic users of the system to easily upload videos that are recorded from even the most basic web-cam (as well as other assets) into private areas within the DMC. They can then combine those materials into branded materials and/or video wrappers to be sent to their target audience(s). What’s more? It is all supported by the advanced tracking and analytics information you receive from other DMC email campaigns.

Studies show that video emails increase click through rates by 50% and improve responses to campaigns and call to actions by up to 20%.  Even professionally created videos can be used in this module of the DMC to increase your ROI% on the video collateral investments that you have already made intended to be displayed in other mediums such as; television commercials, your website, or pressed onto CD-ROM’s and DVD’s.

At New Media Gateway, we enjoy creating new technologies that help you get the most from your online campaigns, while cutting back on sales and marketing downtime, so that is exactly why we incorporated the video email capabilities within our DMC product!

Of course, the DMC is built upon a foundation of sophisticated tracking and analytics capabilities, which is also carried into your video email messages. Sure, sending a video email is nice, but sending it with tracking that shows open and click activity and can even notify you of when someone is viewing your video can put you in a league of your own.

Sales teams can then quickly send out personalized messages to prospects before or after:

  • Sales Calls
  • Introduction Emails
  • Meetings
  • Tradeshows

Companies that use branded videos as a follow-up method can close up to 45% (year-to-year) more business than sales teams that solely rely upon traditional methods such as phone and static email follow-up practices.

So, why not let our team start educating you about how you can use video emails to be more effective in your sales, marketing, and communications efforts with your target segments today?
